Community

Office Depot celebrated the donation of its one millionth backpack as part of the Company's National Backpack Program.
The retail value of Office Depot in-kind donations in 2006 exceeded $33,100,000.
The United Negro College Fund and the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities awarded 46 scholarships thanks to contributions through the Office Depot Education and Diversity Partnership Program.

Ethics

Office Depot doubled the number of factories inspected in the Company's social accountability program.
The Company had deployed ethics training in 14 countries by the end of 2006.
Corporate Responsibility Officer Magazine named Office Depot to its list of 100 Best Corporate Citizens.

Inclusion

Office Depot increased sales of products from Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs) to over half a billion dollars.
50% of the members of the Office Depot Executive Committee are women.
Participation in the "Matchmaker" supply chain inclusion program for women-owned businesses increased 127% over 2005.

Environment

Office Depot attained an average of 32.7% Post Consumer Recycled Content for cut-sheet paper used in its North American Corporate Operations.
Office Depot reduced absolute greenhouse gas emissions from North American facilities by over 10%, notwithstanding a 4.5% increase in square footage of facilities.
Green Book™ catalogs were published in six countries in five languages during 2006 and included a total of over 6,000 environmentally preferable products.
